Privacy policy

Consensus HR is the data controller for the personal information you share with us. This page explains what we hold, why we hold it and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you complete an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the service area you select and anything you write in your message. If you subscribe to The Consensus Brief we collect your first name, email address and whether you are enquiring as a business or as an individual.

Why we hold it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to provide HR and Employment Law services where you become a client, and to send the newsletter you asked for. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest for responding to enquiries and consent for marketing email.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become client work are deleted after twelve months. Client records are retained for six years after the end of the engagement so that we can meet professional and legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as email and file storage providers, and only where they are bound to protect it.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email info@consensushr.com or call 01438 576750. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
